A Brighter Holiday for one special family this season
What is the significance of one holiday tree? Holiday Assistants found out on November 29th when a very excited little girl watched her dream being setup. You see, not everyone can afford all that sparkle during the holidays. That was the case for Lisa and Lailani. It takes a strong will to admit your faults and reach out for help. When Lisa contacted Holiday Assistants, she did just that.
It may not seem like much, but a simple holiday tree and a wreath were all the sparkle this very special family needed to bring the holiday’s to life. Lailani was even more excited when she realized she would be the decorating elf this year. The holiday spirit is one of giving and sharing. This family shared with us the true magic of the season when all we did was bring them a tree. 
Charity is such an incomplete word, because it doesn’t fully describe the action of giving in a time of need. To give something so simple is easy, what you receive from that action is enormous. Ask anyone who has helped out at a soup kitchen or worked for a charity what it’s like and you don’t get a recitation of a grueling day’s work. You get all the stories from the lives that were touched.
